Stephen King Books

I'm currently working my way through Stephen Kings works in the order they were published. So I'm going to use this post to put them in order of my favorite. So, since I've only read one book so far (for this project) it will start at 1 and I'll move them around as I read them.

1. The Shining
2. Carrie
3. 'Salem's Lot
4. Rage

Because I don't think you can rate short story collections the same as you can novels, I'll rate those here. And then will be adding rates for each story in each collection. (If that makes any kind of sense)

Short Story Collections:

1. Night Shift

Stories in Night Shift:
1. The Last Rung on the Ladder
2. One for the Road
3. The Lawnmower Man
4. Quitters, Inc.
5. Battleground
6. Children of the Corn
7. Trucks
8. I am the Doorway
9. I Know What You Need
10.Sometimes They Come Back
11.The Boogeyman
12.Strawberry Spring
13.The Man Who Loved Flowers
14.The Ledge
15.Gray Matter
16.The Woman in the Room
17.Night Surf
18.The Mangler
19.Graveyard Shift
20.Jerusalem's Lot

Motivation

Well, I got a lot more done today than I expected. Although there is still much more to go. I got all the Christmas decorations put away! YEA! The main things that need to be done are cages, laundry and the kitchen, so I'll be tackling them tomorrow. I think part of the key to my being so active today was taking Midol, I swear it's like a major energy boost to me when I take them. I've been tempted to take it when I'm not on my period, but I haven't yet. They do make a huge difference since the first few days of my period I am usually a lump and don't do much of anything, it sucks.

I need to make some phone calls too, about Beth's CPAP, to get prescriptions refilled and I think I need to take the cat to the vet, but I'm going to talk to Steve about that first.

Well, I'm off to watch more Hoarders (which is great motivation too to get moving)

Once again, I swear I'll blog earlier one of these days and write something meaningful.

Tired, so tired

I've had a good day for the most part, and the one part I want to blog about I'm just too tired to do so, it's cause of my time of the month, I'm just exhausted. I'm going to try to head to bed a little early tonight, get some sleep and then hopefully accomplish things tomorrow, I did enjoy my lazy day today, the only things left I HAVE to do are feed a few animals, drink my bottle of water and read a chapter of The Shining. Everything else can, and will wait until tomorrow.

Till then.

I'm a little turtle.

Well, I'm getting things done around here very slowly. A lot of the house is in good condition. The dining room is messed up, but I'm working on taking down Christmas decorations, and that's the majority of the mess, which MOST of it should be back up in the attic tomorrow, if not a few more tonight. The kitchen needs work, but I'm tackling it and THAT should be done by tomorrow night, and I'll be doing a little more there before bed as well.

The last room that I'm working on is the basement, which I'm slowly working on. I hope to have it all set and organized by summer, and then I'll tackle the garage.

I started my period today, I've been once a month since fall, which is great since before that I went a year without. I can honestly know when one is coming by the moon cause I seem to be set off by the full moon.

I think that's it for now, I really need to do these posts a bit earlier, I had thought of a couple cool things to write about and now I can't think about them cause I'm sleepy.

Night night.

Revisions, and ready to roll!

There are less than 3 hours left in 2009. Every year I go through this, and each year I make it a little further, so here's to getting even more accomplished in 2010.

I'm revising my resolutions, because with house work, I'm going to follow Flylady, and for health/weight loss I'm using Sparkpeople, so I'm just putting those as their own resolutions. Anything that falls under those will be gone, and then I'll have my list, here it goes:

1)Follow Flylady
2)Follow Sparkpeople
3)Blog daily
4)Read Bible daily
5)Find a devotion to read daily
6)Read for fun daily
7)Write for at least 15 min a day (make a blog for this purpose?)
8)Crochet or knit daily
9)Visit Grandma once a month
10)Visit my dad once a month
11)Call mom at least once a month
12)Dresses only as often as possible
13)Do something with Beth daily (Try-It's, craft, etc.)
14)Go to church as often as possible

Ok, I'm ready! Bring on 2010!
